Flower Bracelet

This one is only a little harder then the amethyst bracelet but gives a whole different affect and were using the same principles as the amethyst bracelet. This one is more for showcasing a bead that you like in the middle of the bracelet and pairing it with complementary colors.

Here is what you will need

Fine wire (tarnish resistant) – 26, 28, 30 gauge (the larger the gauge the smaller the wire is, which makes it easier to work with your crochet hook) I used 26 g

Crochet hook – any can be used (use a metal one) if you want larger loops for your bracelet then use a larger hook, experiment a little make a few loops with the hooks you are deciding and pick which one works best for you with this project. I used a 3.25 hook. (note that if you are using a larger crochet hook then your bracelet will be longer then in this example please make corrections accordingly)

2 end clasp- which ever ones that you like using (get ones that are tarnish resistant)

Beads – this has a combination of 7 different beads. 1 flower bead (middle), 4 smaller frosted beads, 2 large frosted beads, 16 small purple beads, 16 small black beads, and 32 white seed beads. 2 end beads these are to hide attaching the end clasps onto your bracelet and to make sure that the wire will not poke you (I used 2 small purple beads for this which increases the total to 18)

Wire pliers- these are not needed but make your life a lot more easy while using the end beads

Scissors – to cut the wire of course (its very fine so normal scissors will work)

Step 1
Place your beads on the wire (this pattern uses 2 different crochet wire)
First wire put (white, black, white) beads on the wire repeat 8 times
Put your middle beads on and then repeat the (white, black, white) 8 times again.

Step 2
Slipknot, chain 2, chain with (W,B,W) in each stitch until you reach the middle, slide all the middle beads over (do not crochet them).

Step 3
Make a fake slipknot (as tight as possible to keep the middle beads in place) and crochet (W,B,W) until you run out of beads, then chain 2 fasten off and leave a tail long enough to put on your end clasps.

Step 4
Put 8 purple beads on your wire.
Step 5
Chain 2, then chain with the purple beads 1 in each stitch until you reach the middle.

Step 6
Cut the wire give yourself a lot of wire, give at least double the crochet space you are using at the other end of your bracelet. Put this wire through the middle beads the opposite way as the other one (this will help keeping the middle beads in place).

Step 7
Put the remaining 8 purple beads on the wire. Make a fake slipknot (as tight as possible to keep the middle beads in place) and crochet the purple beads until you run out of beads, then chain 2 leave a tail long enough to put on your end clasps.

Step 8
Cross the 2 bead strand in the middle on each side and twist the end wire on each side.

Step 9
Put the end bead on both wires, tug the wires around the end clasp, and bring it back through the end bead, cut the wires so that there is a little bit left and push that through the end bead again so that you can’t feel the wire and that it won’t easily come out. Do this for both sides (make sure you put the clasps on the same side).

you should now have a flower bracelet!! Great job!!
